I'm sure this tv would work well with an outdoor antenna or cable hookup. But, in an enclosed space, such as a downstairs bathroom like I have here, I've had to use a powered analog antenna ($30.00) on top of a cabinet. I can get quite a few stations but not all that I think I should. But, then again, how many stations do you need to see while sitting on a toilet? The sound is a little tinny, but it's ok for the price. I'd say go for it if you really need an extra tv on a countertop or bathroom vanity.Get more detail about Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV.
