My little used analog 2" TV went by the wayside when digital TV came out. I looked at all that was out there and decided on the Haier HLT71 TV. It does have a replacement battery so it CAN be replaced when it needs to. It picked up about 30 over the air TV stations locally, but it did not get the two big ones, ABC and CBS.
When I hooked a cable from the TV to the outlet in the wall it picked up them along with a total of 38 local stations here in Houston, Tx.
When the power goes out I can turn it on and find out what is going on. I remember one time the power went out and I got out my windup radio. All I could get on it locally was Houston's Rocket Games and Astro Baseball. All the stations were carrying country and western music while were were being blown away by a storm.
