I purchased this set to use on a boat with the cigarette lighter adapter....Did a program search and could only receive 1 channel....I was on the water approx 10 miles from Baltimore. I should have been able to pick up at least 6 channels as I did on my old analog television. I then purchased a digital antenna but still one channel. Put set away planning to use it when I get close to a major city. I turned on set and the green battery charge light came on in about 3 min. but the red standby/power light stayed red. After trying everything in the book the set would not come on....I called customer service and they advised I was past my 90 warranty period by 10 days and also advised they could not locate a service center in the Philadelphia area.....I spent over three frustating hours on phone,web site and trying to get this unit to come on.....Last night it went to the dump...Problem solved....ps....I will never buy another Haier product....
