Like so many here, I bought this portable tv to replace mine which will become useless in February. Once I ordered it, it seemed like more reviews came out saying they had problems getting it to work. However, for me, all I can say is "Wow!!"
The tv is a perfect size to take with you or, like in my case, have it sit in a corner of the bathroom counter so I can watch in the mornings. It's thin enough that you could almost sit it flat against a wall (if you don't use the attached kick stand) and it definitely could be mounted with the right equipment since everything plugs into the side rather than the back. The battery was a bit difficult to get situated because of a piece that you need to plug in but I was still able to do it just with my finger.
At first, I tried using this with the analog stations and I was a bit scared because the picture was incredibly fuzzy - I could barely make out anything. I'm in Central California so I don't know how every area will work but I did just test the digital channels which are now available in this area. I was completely blown away by how crystal clear the picture was on those stations. Any concerns I may have had about picture quality are gone. As fuzzy and difficult to watch as the analog stations were, the digital were amazing. The color is adjustable, extremely clear and you do have the option of watching wide screen or normal.
The only down side for me is the antennae. It attaches easily the same way you would attach a cable cord but is also easily loosened if you attempt to rotate for better reception. A small price to pay however for getting such a great picture.
No one may completely know what will happen come mid February. However, based on what I've seen so far, this tv is a great deal at a great price!!!
