I have a little Casio portable TV which is going to turn into a pumpkin when they stop the analog TV. So I get this Haier from Amazon for $117.99; the screen is bigger but the picture is worse. The Casio gets great reception with the antenna completely retracted. The Haier gets nothing. With the long antenna waving around, it gets poor reception. Connected to the antenna on the roof with a big stiff cable, the reception is good. BUT the digital channels are blurry, so blurry you can't read the crawl. The analog channels are actually sharper. Working the sharpness, contrast, etc. doesn't help. Plus there is the business of changing from normal to wide depending on which station you're watching. This involves 10 button pushes if you get it right. I should spend the $60 on the converter box, keep the Casio, and sent this back to Amazon.Get more detail about Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV.
