I purchased this TV to use in emergencies (hurricanes, power outages) and found out that the digital channels stored in memory will be lost if the TV is turned off and then on again without the battery connected. I had disconnected the battery to save it for emergencies. Perhaps the unit I received was defected otherwise I would give it 3-stars. I called Haier parts (800.313.8495) to purchase a spare battery but they quoted a price of $58 plus $7 for shipping for a non-UL listed battery!
