I needed a small desktop TV that would be useful for tracking news and financial data while working in my home office. It had to be inexpensive because we have three other TVs in bedrooms and family room. This Haier 7-inch portable fills the bill admirably. Great picture; comparable to a full size. Great cost. I use cable input at the desk and antennae when moving around. Both inputs work fine, even though we are in a marginal reception area on antennae. Sound is very clear and less tinny that other similar units I have seen, but fidelity is shrill, which is not surprising for the tiny speakers. A recommendation for those who would like better sound; plug in the sterio headphones from your computer or TV/radio. The Haier outputs beautiful sound; excellent highs and lows.
