This receiver has all the goodies, and works great. The one thing it needs is a Philips digital tuner. I tried it in San Antonio, TX where the city stations are located less than 15 miles from my home. It would not pick up any of the 5 stations now broadcasting digital. I also have a 19" Magnavox using an old rabbit-ear antenna (not amplified) which received them all fine. I connected the Haier to this antenna also, but still no reception. The Magnavox has the Philips tuner, as does one of the two new sets recently shown at the Las Vegas Electronics Show just weeks ago. I loved this Haier Tv and even though it didn't work for me, it may be just fine in your area depending on distance, buildings, etc.Get more detail about Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV.
