The portable TV I purchased,Haier Model HLT71,has been a total disaster. The first one I received had a problem with the remote control and the battery would not recharge. When I first talked to their customer service dept. they said they would send me a replacement but I would have to pay a $14.95 shipping charge. I flatly refused and finally got someone to waive the shipping charge. I got the replacement which worked for several days and then failed. Again the batteries would not charge up.I called again and they are sending me another replacement. I don't have much hope that it will work or last for very long.
