I was very disappointed that the new t.v. would not pick up the local channels as the old analog t.v. would. I had great hopes of being able to view t.v. even when the electricity was off but can't even get channels with the electricity on. I followed every direction provided with the set and even tried the steps again only to get no color on a snowy off channel that we never watch. We should be able to pick up 4-5 good channels not counting the advertisement channel we can barely see.
