The purpose of a portable tv is that it be portable. Portable means a telescoping antenna. This tv's reception didn't match my old vhf/uhf portable tv reception. In fact, it didn't receive any of the digital channels when using the telescoping antenna. Worked beautifully connected to an attic or roof antenna, but that defeats the portability. Otherwise it works great, except the one I got was a little defective. It kept losing the channel memory. I think the power adapter or plug/socket had an intermittent open connection.
