Cheapest Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV

I really wanted to keep this little TV; the picture was beautiful; I really liked the rubberized casing; and size was perfect. The little antenna, of course, would not work; however, I thought a connection to an external antenna would; unfortunately for me, the digital tuner was just not capabale of picking up our local stations. I realize that there are many factors influencing TV reception - especially digital; however, I have 3 sources within my home on which I am able to watch all our local digital stations with no problems, using antique rabbit ears which I've saved thru the years. I live ~ 30 miles or so from a major metropolitan area and there are 30-40 stations available. I use a USB HD tuner on my Vista laptop and have a digital converter box hooked up to an older TV; in addition, I can receive all the channels on a new Sony 46" LCD (whenever cable goes out). Location within the home is a factor; however, no matter where and how I tried to scan and connect, it could only bring in about 3 stations (even though it would "find" 39 stations). So, it may work great for some people, but not in all areas.Get more detail about Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD TV.
