This is a very good device overall. I've used it for both over the air reception and AV input, and it works well for both.
The only problem I had with it is the included antenna did not work very well. Sometimes I'd get a good signal, but some channels came in so splotchy they were unwatchable, it was about 50/50. I upgraded the antenna and since then it has worked near-perfectly, very clear HD picture, reasonable ( 2.5 hour ) battery life, and remote control.
