I am using this TV with CATV. I had the problem of re-scanning each time I turned on this TV. I solved the problem by going into the menu, selecting the Antenna icon, selecting SHOW/HIDE, I selected each channel, pressed ENTER to select (V), or de-select (no V) that particular channel. Of the 220 cable channels that were scanned into this TV, I only selected the 25 that I look at. I have cablevisions' lowest tier but this TV input all cablevision channels so most of them came up as 'Data base not found'. I guess hiding the useless channels freed up memory because now the TV works great. By the way, I ordered this TV on May 11th and received it on May 12th.
