I read all the reviews on every website I could find for all the small, portable, digital tv's before purchasing. I am SO HAPPY with this model! The channels did not get erased from the tv's memory, the reception was as good as I could expect based on where I am in relation to the towers and the picture is SO clear! This was definitely worth the splurge. My husband is happy, because now I can watch my soaps during the day and don't have to watch them on tape with him in the evening.
