Had this little TV out of the box and scanning for local channels in just a few minutes. Living near the city, I was able to pick up 19 channels with the little antenna provided. Amazingly clear picture for 9 of them 24/7 inside the house. I have this in the kitchen near the laundry room. We live in tornado country and I was dreading the switch over to digital- as the little battery op black and white portable I own has been tuned to the news during tornado warnings while we huddled in the basement with power out and watched satellite tracking on local news.
