I had an old b&w analog tv with rabbit ears which I used to get the news while cooking and eating dinner. That old set got the six basic station here in the Sacramento Valley with old built in pull up antenna, This thing got one channel intermittently. Went out an purchased a "boosted digital" set of ears. The it got 2 channels neither of which were the "big Three" for the news. You would think that knowing this conversion was coming the engineers would have make a tuner that would work. I just don't want to pay and addition 5 bucks a month and have cables strung all over my kitchen. The is an old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it FCC should have listened.
